About Peponi

Peponi is a brand registered in Indonesia via Ministry of Law and Human Rights (Kementerian Hukum dan Hak Asasi Manusia). The usage of Peponi's name is protected under the Indonesia law.

What information do we collect?

We collect information from you when you register on our site or fill out a form through our marketing & sales channels. We will collect certain information from you when you make an enquiry or book a trip with us through our website or customer service channels. Depending on your interaction with us and what products and services you use, typically we collect the following personal information:

1. your full name, date of birth, gender (i.e. male/female/other), title, postal address, phone number, email address, next of kin, dietary requirements, height and weight, travel insurance details, passport details (including nationality and city of birth), passport scan, visa application, visa page scan;
2. we may also ask for medical / health information, such as pre-existing medical conditions, vaccination status, if you have a disability, medication that requires refrigeration, food allergies etc., some of which is considered sensitive information or special category data under relevant data protection laws; and
3. any additional information you provide during the booking process to check if a trip is right for you, which may include personal information.

We also process and store records of the products and services you have enquired about or purchased from us, as well as collect and process information relevant to your booking (such as flights and accommodation details) that you have not booked through Peponi, where this information has been passed to us by our partners and/or third parties.

If Peponi is offering visa support or assisting you with applying for a visa in countries you may be asked to provide additional information, including for example, your occupation, your parent's personal information, marital status, your spouse’s personal information, your children’s personal information, financial statement, employment and education history and social media tags. If you are providing us with the personal information of another person, you must ensure that you inform these persons of the information that you intend to provide to us, and that those you represent are aware of the content of our Privacy Policy and consent to your acting on their behalf.

What do we use your information for?

Any of the information we collect from you may be used in one of the following ways:

1. To process transactions
2. Your information, whether public of private, will not be sold, exchanged, transferred, or given to any other company for any reason whatsoever, without your consent, other than for the express purpose of delivering the purchased service requested by the customer.
3. To send periodic emails
4. The email address you provide for order processing, may be used to send you information and updates pertaining to your order, in addition to receiving occasional company newes, updates, related product or service information, etc.
5. To administer a contest, promotion, survey or other site feature

How does our payment gateway work?

We integrate with a secure third party payment gateway (currently with Xendit) to facilitate payments between you and us and our partners and tour operators and agents, as applicable. These service providers share payment information so we can administer and handle your travel services reservation or tour. All of our third-party payments providers are required to be PCI DSS compliant and process all payments on our behalf. We currently run only one payment method which is through virtual bank account transfer for your trip / travel services. Please note that there will be a small amount of service fee charged by our payment gateway partner.

How do we protect your information?

We implement a variety of security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information when you access your personal information.

How will we proceed your travel photos and videos?

When you are travelling with us on a trip, as part of your exclusive experience a photo or video will be taken by the teamofpeponi (trip leaders) or your fellow new traveling friends. Any photos taken may be used to promote our services through social media: Instagram, Tiktok, Linkedin, Whatsapp, Facebook, but not limited to. We care about your privacy so if you do not wish for your photograph to be taken or used at any time, or to be included in any video, please let your trip leader or our customer service know immediately.

Changes of the privacy & policy

We may change this privacy policy at any time and from time to time without prior notice to you, including by publishing a new version on our website. You should check this privacy policy each time you visit our website.
